Dainik Bhaskar Places order for a New Orient X-Cel Press and 18 Add-on 4-Hi Towers of Orient Super and Orient X-Cel to Augment Colour Pagination in Their Premier Publication Dainik Bhaskar
 
Dainik Bhaskar, the flagship newspaper from the DB Corp Ltd is the second most read Indian daily with 33.7 million readers. The other newspapers by DB Corp Ltd include Divya Bhaskar, DNA (Daily News and Analysis – printed in collaboration with the Zee Group)

DB Corp has been a customer of TPH for over two decades having more than 100 4 Hi Towers in operation across various centers in India. 20 % of the 4 Hi Towers are of Orient X-Cel and balance 80% towers are Orient Super.

DB Corp Ltd. has placed orders for 18 New Add - on 4-High Towers for various locations and a new press- line comprising 5 nos. 4- High Towers for their Rohtak Center.

Add - on towers are to be installed at various locations, namely – Udaipur (2 towers), Kota (2 towers), Bhatinda (3 towers), Jamshedpur (6 towers). Bhuj, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Panipat centers will have single tower add-ons for existing Orient Presses.

All the add-on towers are of Orient Super (30,000 cph), except the one for Kota Center which is of Orient X-Cel (36,000 cph). All the towers have Hardened and Ground bushes on plate and blanket cylinder bores on the frames for increased machine life.

The new Orient X-Cel (36,000 cph) press to be installed at Rohtak is configured as :

All the Dummy units in the above configuration have been equipped with Pneumatically controlled Disc Brakes


The phased deliveries have already begun and are scheduled to be completed by the first quarter of 2011.
 
MBD Group Orders Five Orient Super Presses (30,000 cph) As a part of Their Unprecedented Expansion Plan
 
MBD Group having 40 years of experience is one of India’s largest Publishing Houses with an annual turnover of Rs. 200 crores (equivalent to approx. US$ 45 million).

TPH and the MBD Group have a long business association of two decades over which TPH has received orders for more than ten presses comprising Orient Super 4 - Hi Towers.

MBD has placed an order for five lines of Orient Super Press, all having identical configuration. Of these five presses, two would be installed at Sahibabad and one each at Karnal, Jalandhar & Gagret. All the press- lines except the one at Sahibabad are of 508 mm cut-off. The Sahibabad line is of 578 cut-off.

These presses are capable of printing 2+2 colour on a single web page with 16 pages with the quarter page folder. All the reel stands are being equipped with pneumatically controlled disc brakes.

The Plate and the blanket cylinder bores also have Hardened and Ground Bushes for longer machine life.
