| Orient X- Press is a single width single circumference press of compact and modular design for quality printing at speed upto 45,000 copies per hour in broadsheet and tabloid format. The press incorporates technologies and features aimed at ease of operation and high quality printing on excellent price performance ratio.
The printing units are available in various constructions: Stack Units (Stacked as 2 Hi, 3Hi or 4 Hi), 3 Colour Satellite or combination there of in different configurations to print various colour combinations and paginations as per requirement.
A stand alone Automatic Reel Changer is supplied for webs in the pressline.ARC design also allows a stack to be mounted, to work as single print unit.
Orient X- Press is equipped with Tucker folder with optional attachment of Upper Former with capacity to handle max 10 webs and (8+2) webs with balloon former broadsheet.
Features such as Touch Screen Control, Motorised Control and Automatic Grease Lubrication for separating side make Orient X- Press a leader among single width, single circumference presses. | BASIC CONSTRUCTION OF PRINT UNIT. |
| Frames |
 |
The Heavy Duty frames are made of graded cast Iron. They are stress relieved to avoid distortions and give good accuracy in long run. |
 |
The frames are machined on precision CNC machines like Mazak, Okuma, Soroluce etc for optimum matching and accuracy. |
 |
The frames are provided with hardened and ground bushes for plate and Blanket Cylinders. |

| Cylinders |

The cylinders are made of Stainless Steel and are dynamically balanced. |
 |
The cylinders are supported on TIMKEN Double row super precision tape roller bearings. |
 |
The plate cylinder is provided with slit type tool-less mounting system and the blanket cylinder is provided with narrow gap and turn bar type Clamping system operated by worm and worm wheel. |

The plate cylinder is suitable for 0.3 mm plate and blanket is suitable for 1.65 mm blanket. |
 |
Both plate and blanket cylinders are provided with Hardened and Ground Bearers. |

| Pneumatic Control |

The Pneumatic Control are provided for Clutches, brakes, Impression, Ink Feed, Ink Form and Damper form etc. |

In case of web break the impression goes off automatically. |

The Different modules of the machine are connected by Electro-Pneumatic clutch as per requirement of the line. |

| Inking System |

Segmented spring Steel blade is adjustable for the Zonal Ink Control through 24 levers running on eccentric cams. |

Ink Fountain Motor is driven by a variable speed motor and gearbox. The control is through PLC. |

Ink fountain roller is made of Steel. It is hard chrome plated and provided with Non-Metallic End plates to minimize the Ink leakage. |

Ink feed roller is made of Steel and has diamond knurling and spiral groove. |
 |
Two Ink Form Rollers and one ride roller is provided for each train with two nos PU coated vibrating drums. |

The print unit is provided with manually operated Ink Washing Device. |
